Smith Timber Works is a multi-faceted manufacturing company, specializing in the design and fabrication of architectural timber, and high-performance, prefabricated building enclosures. The team is composed of designers, builders, and managers. We are well situated in the geographic center of BC. Our 18, 000 sq.ft. facility and 5 acre work yard houses millwork and timber frame shops, and designated zones for pre-finishing.

All of these components are developed with dedicated software. We collaborate with industry professionals, including engineers, designers and architects and builders.

Smith Timber Works can manage your residential or commercial project from concept to completion.

Smith Timber Works story began in 2004. Born from a passion for great carpentry, and a quest for some extra spending money (for fishing), Brock set out with not much more than a tool pouch, a Toyota pickup and a flip phone. Along the way we have been fortunate to connect with other like-minded individuals, who have helped shape us and joined our team. Today, Smith Timber Works has a permanent work location and is run by a team of trained and experienced designers and builders. We feel proud to be able to say that we design, build, and ship projects across North America.
