The Old Church is a Guesthouse Accommodation located in Field, British Columbia, Canada within Yoho National Park.
The Old Church has a unique history and architecture, which has appealed to many travellers looking for something "different" than the usual room and bed of most hotels. The building originally housed the local United Church built in the 1960s, but was converted to a private residence in the 1980s. We guarantee a "heavenly" night's rest.
In the lower level of the building, the guest suite has 9 foot ceilings and ample natural lighting. The entrance is private. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed, the other with two twin beds, affording privacy and varied sleeping arrangements; both open onto a spacious living room.
The suite comfortably sleeps five people. A bathroom with shower, comes with towelling and all other basic supplies. A large, galley kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, a full-sized fridge and stove, and a microwave oven for those quick evening meals after a long day's hiking, climbing, or skiing.
The suite also has its own propane furnace for those cool summer evenings, or apres ski coziness. There is a secure, outside, completely enclosed storage area for sports equipment beside the front door, and ample space inside the entrance for hanging and drying garments and gear. Winter off-street parking with a plug-in and cord is also available.
