Fine art portraits by Katie Jean. I am a full service photographer offering styling and high end heirloom products. It is my job to create beautiful images for you and your family to treasure. Katie Jean photography is a High-End Fine Art Photography Studio located in Mill Bay, BC and serves all surrounding areas. A majority of my sessions take place on my farm as my partner in crime lives in the barn.
I specialize in fine art child & maternity photography. My love for photography is a result of my love for horses, my children and family, and capturing those special moments in time over the years. My favorite part about my job is the fact that I am able to capture the emotion and seize special fleeting moments in time. Photography has been my passion for many years, but I really started to get more serious when my first child grew up (2004). My children have been my biggest inspiration behind photography business, which I officially began pursuing in 2008.
Children are amazing photographic subjects; they see the world differently and often express a lot more love and emotion than any other subject. I love capturing all those emotions. Whether I am capturing the miracle and God-given beauty of your pregnancy, or capturing the pure innocence in your child; to me, it's not just capturing a compelling image, it's also to tell stories.
